Located at the foot of the Macedon Ranges, just 30 minutes from Melbourne, Emu Bottom is Victoria’s oldest homestead — a property rich in story and setting. With wide, open grounds and historic outbuildings, it’s a place where you feel held by history and by nature.

Every Emu Bottom wedding is planned and managed by Ever After Effect, our in-house creative and coordination team. We know the rhythm of the venue, the movement of the sun across the paddocks, and how to bring an alfresco wedding to life — from the run sheet to the rain plan.
Working seamlessly alongside the Epicurean Hospitality team, we combine effortless coordination with food that feels generous, joyful and true to place. Seasonal grazing tables, wood-fired meats, garden-fresh salads — food that brings people together and lingers in memory.
