There’s nothing quite like walking through a place and feeling the story begin before any vows are spoken. At Emu Bottom Homestead, we invite you to do just that — to wander the gardens, touch the timber, breathe the air and begin to imagine your wedding day unfolding across this historic ground.
Every Saturday, from 11 am to 1 pm, we open the doors for our Weekly Venue Tour Days.
The only requirement: a quick chat with our Ever After Effect team — our planners — to talk through how the day works. Then we hand over the map and invite you to roam freely. Because we believe your vision grows when you’re walking it, not just scrolling it.
Picture this. You step onto the wide veranda of the Homestead, sunlight glancing off ancient bluestone and aged timber. Ahead, lawns stretch out, framed by gums and open sky. To one side, the Woolshed stands—rustic beams, crackling fireplace, star-like lights above. This isn’t just a venue. It’s a place with character, layered in history, waiting for your story.
As you wander, our team will be available for a chat afterwards, if you wish, online or over the phone. The property operates with our Catering Team at Epicurean Group, but Ever After Effect manage date availbility, pricing and what part of the property you desire the most. You will be free to roam on you’re own while you’re there.

And you bring your story. After that call, you’re free to roam. Explore the ceremony lawns, peek into the reception rooms, wander out to the edges of the property and imagine the garden lights coming on as dusk falls.
